Medieval Roleplaying

So, I've seen a lot of Anime roleplaying, but seeing as I usually read medieval-style books, I would naturally be better at roleplaying in a middle ages setting. And I'm 90% sure I'm not the only one.

The premise of the roleplaying is fairly straightforward:
1. No "importing" characters from other things.
2. Please make your name realistic, such as Timmy or Walter. No chat names like XXbeaver226XX
3. This is a forum, not a text message. Please try and use full sentences and words, and instead of saying OMG, just type out Oh my god! or My lord! Come on people, it's not that hard.
4. Optionally, you can try and speak like a person from the time period would.

The story behind this RP is that there is no story! We make it up as we go!
The setting, however is somewhat more strict. The year is around 1250, so no muskets or references to Shapespeare or Da Vinci. They didn't exist.

If you want, you can level up, but it won't affect the story.

Rules for your character:
1. Can't be divine or god-like.
2. You can pick one specialization, like Swordsmanship, Archery, Stealth, Mercantile or Blacksmithing.
3. If you want a mount other than a horse, your character MUST have a mental link with said mount.
4. Your character CAN be immortal (can be killed but won't die of old age). Please specify a reasonable age. Unacceptable: 15 million years old.
5. No killing other forum-users' characters. Non-user characters are okay, so you CAN kick a chicken off a cliff.
6. Bear in mind that this is not a super-fantasy world. No random Nyan Cats or Flying Goats. The most fantasy allowed is with your mount, like a dragon or unicorn.

Before you come into the roleplay, please make a first post describing your character and an optional background.

That pretty much sums it up. Oh and a quick thank you to anybody who actually READS THIS, because if you don't read this you'll ruin the roleplay for everybody else.

On a final note, if you think of any extra detail you want to add to your character, feel free to add that in too as long as it doesn't conflict with anything mentioned above!

Waldor staggers into town, beat up and his clothes in tatters.
He is unarmed.
He proceeds to collapse onto the dusty road and fall unconscious.

(OOC: Yes, I realize that was kinda like an old-western movie beginning. Just go with it, it's actually in medieval times.)

Searching the town, Falter finds Waldor, an old friend, collapsed on the ground. He promptly takes Walder to the nearest inn.

Waldor is asleep for the next few days, however upon his awakening, he begins speaking in a strange language that nobody can understand.

However, the next phrase he utters is understandable:

The realm of the sky will become the earth
The earth will fall into darkness
Light will become stone
Dark will become water
Fire will return



Waldor then proceeds to pass out once again.

Falter goes out as Waldor is sleeping. He gets some alchemy supplies and returns.

Horace gets up and stops Falter and asks " Who is he, the elf your caring for."

Race: High Elf
Age: 29 (as far as he will tell)
Abilities: Agility
Weapons: Twin Daggers, Short Sword, Bow and Arrows
Also: He is extremely stubborn
He also distrust humans for what he saw humans do at the Capital

As Ryn is finishing up his new dagger he has been making during slow days he sees Falter rush by with some alchemy suppies.

Ryn asks Falter "Who are those supplies for?"

Waldor comes to, and notices that he is in a bed in an inn somewhere.

Confused, he sits up and looks around. He sees the usual inn setting, with a wardrobe/dresser in one corner, a wash basin, and a mirror.

Standing up, he notices the door is open, and has evidently been hit with an axe at some point. Exiting the room, he walks down the stairs and proceeds to find a vacant table. Sitting down, he notices that the whole floor is empty, aside from the bartender. Taking note of the strange situation, he looks around for his weapons and armor. He does not see them, and resolves to check in his room.

Upon arriving in the room, he manages to scrounge up his bow, arrows, and some light leather armor. He then proceeds to leave the tavern and walk out onto the streets.

Ryn wonders in to the General Store for food and sees Waldor leaving..... Ryn begins to wonder if he is missing something

Ryn passes the thought from his mind and goes to buy some food

Waldor enters a general store, and notices another elf (Ryn) is in the store.

He then proceeds to greet him, in elvish, hoping that Ryn is here for the same reason Waldor is.

Ryn swallows a bite of his pancakes and replies with" deneppah ti erofeb syad wef a tfel" then eats more of his pancakes.

He replies with:

"?tfel uoy nehw uoy htiw sevle rehto yna ekat ot elba uoy Erew"

He then buys himself two loaves of bread, some cheese, and venison.

Ryn finishes his pancake and says ".yrros I'm .em htiw enoyna gnikat fo kniht ton did I os neppah ot gniog saw ti wonk ton did I ,Sala" and buys a glass of milk.

Falter goes back to the inn and waits after replying to a few people about the odd visitor and his alchemy supplies. He was trying to make a cure-all medicine. But alchemy wasn't made for that kind of thing.

Ryn goes on to ask Wlador "?ereh uoy sgnirb Tahw" adn finsihes his milk.
